A heavenly gift from her Mother, I’m told, was the beautiful weather that showed up for Ken & Kristi’s Wedding day. ♥

The day was perfect. Each side of the bridal party right next door to one another, in their own suites, getting ready for the day together while snacking, dancing, laughing, exchanging gifts. Kristi was such a calm and collected bride, laughing through memories, making sure everyone has everything they need, and just so ready for this day. In the neighboring suite, Ken was also a pretty laid back Groom, hanging with his groomsmen, full of smiles and baby soft hair (or so I’ve heard).

A beautiful outdoor ceremony gave way to happy tears as Ken, Kristi and her son Kade, officially became a family of three (Well, four technically, but fur-children couldn’t be in attendance).

We hung out at the beach a bit for some photos, and even managed to sneak in a boat ride… and then it was time to celebrate!

Heartfelt speeches, emotional dances, smiles, laughter and dancing, dancing, dancing!

Everyone celebrated the night away right up until Ken & Kristi made their sparkler exit… and beyond!

A perfect day.  ♥  Right guys?

The morning of Peter and Keri’s Wedding day was beautiful. Sunshiny skies with a slight balmy breeze… the kind of weather that makes everyone say, “It’s a beautiful day to get married!”
Just a couple of hours short of the ceremony, those same beautiful skies opened right up in a giant torrential downpour…. of luck? That’s what they say, right?!
These guys just laughed about how ironic it was.

…a little too ironic…

The love, laughter and beauty of this day would not be affected by the weather, and that fact was apparent from the very start.

The skies cleared up, and the sun even came out to celebrate the day with Tim and Stephanie.
A perfect day, filled with smiling faces, happy tears, and words of gratitude, love, reflection and admiration. I felt fortunate to have been able to catch it all.

Stephanie took a moment before the ceremony to have an official “first look” with her Dad. They did a great job holding back tears, but they’re faces remained a dead giveaway of the emotional moment.
Emotional faces were a reoccurring theme of the day, as Tim and Stephanie exchanged smiles and meaningful glances through their ceremony, and laughed with one another throughout their first dance.

A New Year’s Eve Wedding

Anyone considering a winter wedding should really get married on New Year’s Eve. Just saying.
So.Much.Fun!

Ann & David really made this day their own. From the beautiful floral arrangements done by Ann & her sister, to the wedding party made up of the couple’s children, niece and nephew….  every detail was clearly thought of and carefully planned.

Happy tears were shed through a heartfelt ceremony, speeches by each of their sons expressed love, happiness, admiration, and humor, and throughout the entire evening, the biggest smiles in the room were on the faces of Ann & David.

The moment the dance floor was open these party people filled it right up, and remained there all the way into the new year.

The day started with two adjoining, music filled rooms, loaded with family, friends, and excited, giggly girls getting hair and makeup done. It was quite a sight to see. There was singing, a little dancing, lots of selfies, mirror swapping, and bobby pins and hairspray everywhere. Oh, and football…. beautified pretty ladies, cheering and yelling over football.
Why can’t everyday start this way?!

Meanwhile, i’m pretty sure a small monsoon was brewing outside.
Jenny was aware, and didn’t bat an eye. She’s a planner. She had hit up good ol’ Amazon, and ordered everyone umbrella’s to match the Wedding theme.
“If we get a little wet, we’ll survive, then we’ll dry off.”

YES!!

Forward to a beautiful, love filled, ceremony, a little playing in the monsoon rain, and then straight to an amazing reception with such sweet dances, exchanges of love and well wishes, and a FABULOUS surprise dance… this couldn’t have been a better day!

I really consider myself fortunate to have been able to spend pretty much the entire day with Jenny, Jeff, and family.  Not only are they kind, appreciative, and genuinely concerned with the comfort and well-being of others, but some big laughs and beautiful moments were shared throughout the day. I’m so happy and grateful that I was able to experience and capture all of it along with them.

Tim & Jenna’s Wedding day location payed homage to the groom’s family vacation locale, also a favorite activity for the couple, while also taking the opportunity to get married in and be surrounded by such picturesque scenery! Brilliant & beautiful!

Heartfelt, handmade touches could be seen throughout, from the jewelry that Jenna, her Bridesmaids and flower girl wore, to the decor done by family, right down to the cake & cupcakes made by a cousin! Beautiful things just seem all that much more beautiful, when made by family and loved ones…

Of all the beautiful, noteworthy things and moments in Tim & Jenna’s Wedding day, the one that stood out the most is their connection. During their ceremony, and every dance they shared, these two would lock eyes, and it’s like you could see the rest just fade away. It was just the two of them, celebrating their love together… It was beautiful.

If love could be measured in smiles, dimples, and sparkly happy eyes, these two would be off the charts!

It was such a pleasure to be able to capture this day for Matt & Sarah.

While they both excitedly prepared for the day, family swooped in and out and all around, helping, fetching, ‘oohing, and ahhing’, and sharing in the excitement. Nieces and Nephews could be found darting about, sneaking candy and trying not to get caught; only they were always caught, and warned that messiness had to wait until after the kiss!
They tried…

Once everyone was all glammed up, they headed to a nearby park for a much anticipated first look!
A long walk across a bridge with a slew of congratulations from passers by, would finally lead Sarah to her eager, soon to be husband.
The smiles these two have when they see each other is the stuff they strive to recreate in movies. You can’t help but smile right along with them.  ♥

The ceremony followed suit with beaming, adoring faces, and some emotional, happy tears from some sweet, sweet little men. Matt & Sarah locked eyes and said such loving and confident ‘I do’s’, nobody could fault anyone for shedding a happy tear or two!

Dj & Erin are such a loving, kind, and easy going couple. It was such a breeze capturing their wedding day.

Actually, a breeze was what we all wished for, on this scorching summer day, but Dj and Erin’s calm and laid back approach, allowing for breaks, making adjustments as needed, and just generally planning ahead to be sure that everyone would be comfortable, happy, and entertained throughout all of the days events, really made all the difference.

After a sweet outdoor ceremony, guests could be found cooling off inside, enjoying some shade on the back patio, or playing cornhole, tic tac toe, or gigantic jenga on the lawn.

The evening was kicked off in style. Not only with the bride and groom’s first dance as Mr & Mrs, followed by parent dances made even sweeter when shared with the Erin’s Uncles as well, but also a couple of toasts…. a couple of toasts that, much to the couple’s surprise, turned into a family flash mob!

It was fabulous. It was all fabulous.
