It was such a pleasure capturing this special day for Jeff & Jade.
The day turned out to be warm, of course, but just beautiful for an outdoor ceremony.
Jade was such a beautiful bride, and the sight of her walking down the aisle with their son, Jayke, was just adorable! Jayke stayed with Mom & Dad throughout the ceremony, pointing out cool boats he saw, as Jeff & Jade laughed about who was to obey who during their vows, with many loving glances and big smiles in between it all.

♥

♥

The reception followed suite, with many laughs, hugs, and even more boat watching for little Jaykey!

♥

♥

The highlight of the night, for me, was finding out they’d decided to do a “first dance” sort of dance after all…. and while I’m snapping away, trying to capture every moment of this for them, Jade looks up and says so sweetly, “We’re so awkward!”
♥
It was such a beautiful day and a wonderful time capturing all the love this family has for each other.
Congratulations Jeff & Jade!

I almost forgot to share this, as Zach & Mackenzie (& guests) had already viewed their sneak peek during their Wedding reception! Everyone needs some Blog time though!
…and why not throw in a few more!
Zach & Mackenzie are adorable, and are surrounded by some pretty awesome people as well.
Wedding day preparations had such a calmness about them. Just a bunch of cool people, hanging out & looking their best! All the planning and details were taken care of, right down to the notes of thanks on both mothers arm cuffs!

Not only did the entire day go off without a single hitch (which is pretty much unheard of…), but it was such a great time to capture. The stories shared, the laughs, the words of kindness and appreciation, the love and excitement….
Gahhhhh!! THIS is why I love Weddings!

I recently had the pleasure of capturing Kenny and Amanda’s, or, should I say #BoopsWedding.
Somehow I’m still not completely positive who Boops is, however, since now they’re married, maybe they’re both Boops? Could that be a thing?

♥
All Boops aside, the day was nearly as beautiful as the bride herself, the humidity took a break, just for this occasion, and everyone was just so happy for this long awaited day to come.
♥

♥

♥
After a first look in the park, any nervous jitters were definitely more settled.
Then an epic ceremony speech filled with (how many? Well… A LOT…) television show references to, about, and offering advice to the future Mr & Mrs filled the room with laughter and smiles all around.
Some teary ‘I do’s’, then the celebration was well under way.
♥

♥

♥

♥
It was a wonderful day and evening, filled with so much beauty, lots of laughs, and a whole lot of love.
Just perfect!
Congratulation Mr & Mrs Cabral!

Corey and Rachel are such a kind an easy going couple. From the our first meeting, to engagement photos, everything was smooth, easy, and always carried out with smiles and laughter.
It’s no surprise that the tone of their Wedding day would be no different.

Adding to the tone, the attention to detail and eye for creativity that was put into planning this day did not go unnoticed.
The result was pure elegance.

♥

Even more than things going smoothly, beautiful decor and easy going attitudes, this was a true celebration of love and family. It could be seen, heard, and felt everywhere you went.

♥

♥

♥

♥

From loving expressions, smiles, shared stories, happy tears….
A fantastic foundation to build a marriage. ♥
*Plus, it should be mentioned, that I believe Corey & Rachel may have danced with nearly all of their guests, at least once! So much fun!

I’m here to make your Monday better!
Meet Josh and Kelley.
They were married on 3.14.15 ; Pi Day.
The relation of pi to a circle, such as the circle of a wedding band… as well as relating pi to PIE, like the ones given to their guests as favors….
A++ for planning on that one!! I absolutely loved it!

♥ ♥ ♥

♥ ♥ ♥
Not only was that pretty awesome, but they’re pretty awesome as well!
Kelley, the clear organizer of the pair, had all the details of the day accounted for and taken care of, and she made sure nobody was left out along the way. Josh, well he wanted to be sure everyone not only had a great time, but knew how much he loved appreciated everyone involved in this day.
Sometimes that appreciation came in the form of a giant squeezy hug!

Such a fun wedding, with some really great people!!

The other night night I awoke to a text message.
No emergency… my brother in-law had proposed, a day earlier than he’d planned, to his girlfriend Ashley.
(& she said YES! Phew!)
I sent back a dreary, happy, congratulations reply and went back to bed laughing about how he couldn’t wait one more day, and wondering about all the hints he’d likely dropped that had her on to him.
The next day proved to be a beautiful, sunny one, and as I laughed to myself about all this extra time they’d have on their hands, (since he’d proposed a night earlier than planned) I thought… maybe I can get them out for some engagement photos?!
That was a pretty great idea.

♥

♥

♥
It was cold, but Ryan and Ashley are a fun and funny couple, and both were still in that super happy, just engaged, omg zone… so it was a really good time. I honestly can’t remember the last time I laughed so hard…on the ground…in the road.
♥
Yep.

Congrats again, you two! ♥

Ryan and Lauren chose to have a longer engagement, so when they’d call to secure their date with me, it seemed so far away! Since meeting last year for their engagement session however, the time just seemed to fly, and Wedding Day was upon us! I couldn’t have been happier, as I knew that the fun shots we were able to get for their engagement session were just a preview of the fun and surprises in store for their Wedding Day!
♥
Here’s a quick look back!

Wedding Day:
Ryan actually started off the surprises with a pre-wedding gift; a beautiful necklace that Lauren ended up wearing down the aisle. She hadn’t chosen a necklace to wear with her dress, and this one fit and complimented it so perfectly. It was a perfect surprise.
Lauren had a couple of surprises planned for the night. First, she surprised Ryan, and all of her guests, with an Elvis impersonator to sing their first dance song. The grin on both of their faces as they danced was perfect. Next, another surprise of the singing variety; this time Lauren, with a solo of her own. She beautifully sung to Ryan, and all of their guests, and then excitedly announced the opening the dance floor.
Top all of that off with funny and heartfelt toasts, a beautifully decorated “Fall in Love” themed venue, a fantastic DJ who kept the dance floor filled, and a super fun photo booth – it was a fantastic night for all!!

Travis and Adrienne are a fun loving, laid back couple, who are full of surprises, and I love it!!
I started the day with them getting ready in Adrienne’s family home. The house was filled with parents, aunts, siblings, cousins and friends… and of course their little Maddison. There were countless smiles, plenty of laughter and many helpful hands throughout the house. Somehow, despite the many eyes searching in anticipation of the groom’s arrival, he nearly got away with slipping in through the back door – but was quickly shoo’ed out to await their ‘first look’ with the proper audience.

♥

♥

If there was anything better than the smile on Travis face when he saw Adrienne, it would be their little Maddi watching them through the window. Adorable.

♥

The ceremony, led by Adrienne’s Uncle, followed soon after. Travis & Maddison came down the aisle together. When announced that “we’re gathered here to unite Travis & Adrienne in marriage”, Maddison cheered from her seat. Heartfelt vows were exchanged, a few tears shed, a surprise poem written by Adrienne as a young girl was read, and then some more tears.
It was beautiful.

♥

Then they said, the most nerve wracking part of the day wasn’t over yet.
Huh?

♥

Travis and Adrienne took dancing lessons leading up to their Wedding day. Their first dance was no typical first dance at all. They had a dance number and were about to show everyone some fancy footwork!

They. Were. Fantastic!
Guests stood in awe, cheering with surprise and encouragement. If everyone hadn’t already been standing, they would have definitely given a standing ovation as well!
♥ ♥ ♥
Travis & Adrienne, congratulations!
Thank you for entrusting me with capturing your Wedding day!
