November 28, 2012 Correa Wedding

Something tells me that starting nearly every Wedding Blog Post with  mentioning how much ‘I just Loooove Weddings’, is going to get a little old for all of you. OR, when you hear the word ‘Wedding’, you’ll think; “that Amy lady, from LmZ Photography LOVES Weddings!”

I can get into your mind! Haha!

(let’s save that thought)

So, this day started out the way all my days do… a bunch of women getting their hair and make-up done, drinking hot tea and mimosa’s, a pregnant woman posing with the champagne she can’t drink, beautiful dresses, a woman in white… y’know, the usual.

The best part of combining all those events in one day?

Hair & make-up+hot tea & mimosas+friends (both pregnant and without child)+dresses= A beautiful bride!

Ok, so maybe that was  a specially prepared mix. Results may vary. Kids, do not try at home.

For Kristen – perfect combination!  She was ready to see her Groom and finally become Mrs Correa!

That first look;

…leading to the beginning to the rest of their lives together…

I do’s all around, a kiss, then a bigger kiss, and last but not least;

“I introduce to you, the new Mr & Mrs Correa”!

They headed to The MonPonsett Inn to kick off their Wedding day celebration!

It was a little chilly, but Jon & Kristen, along with their family & Wedding party,  braved the cold long enough for some beautiful images by the pond.

After thawing out a bit, some touching speeches were made by the Best Man, Maid of honor, and the Father of the Groom.

Then? Well then it was time to dance!

These guys just weren’t really into it though….

Can’t you tell?

 Jon & Kristen, your Wedding Day was beautiful and I’m so grateful to have been able to capture the memory for you.

Congratulations & Best Wishes for a long & happy life together!

(…and babies!!  I heard Kristen’s Mother mention wanting Grand-babies? I’d like to vote ‘yes’ for that as well! The only thing I love more than photographing a Wedding, is Photographing BABIES!!!! No pressure… ;) )

November 14, 2012 and Baby makes 3!

This is the time of year that I usually tell my clients that they’ll hear from me when they’re session is ready, and not for the Blog Post Peek (BPP), as I’m busier than normal and also don’t want to ruin any Christmas gift surprises.

Well, I’m throwing my own rules out the window with this one, and I just don’t care who’s Christmas surprise I ruin!

(Totally kidding… that’d be terrible. What am I, the grinch?! The real gift is expected for the New Year anyway.)

I just had to share some of these images….

 You may recognize these two.

They’ve definitely hung out on the Blog a couple of times, here & here.

I’m so glad they’re here again, this time to document another beautiful milestone in their journey together!

November 14, 2012 Hudgins Wedding

Can I just tell you my favorite part of a wedding ceremony?

Rachel and Stuart’s Wedding Ceremony definitely highlighted this one;

That moment, when the Groom’s face goes from nervous and uncomfortable, ‘there’s too many people looking at me‘, to an excited, calm, ‘there she is, let’s do this!‘ when he finally sees his Bride. It’s that unspoken love that gets me every time!

Rachel and Stuart are not only a gorgeous couple, but they have a son who was the cutest little red headed, tux wearing, ring bearer ever! He was so proud to walk down that isle to meet his Dad, that he barely noticed the pews filled with people! It was adorable.

Rachel’s two little sisters were flower girls as well, and not only were they the cutest little precisely focused petal droppers, but they were a huge help in occupying and distracting little Mr ring bearer when needed!

After a beautiful ceremony, I whisked them all away for some cameo’s before the reception.

Then they were off to celebrate!

…and celebrate they did!

A beautiful wedding ceremony, followed by such a fun and equally beautiful reception – what more could you ask for?!

Rachel and Stu, it was an honor to be able to capture such an amazing day in the start of your lives together.

Thank you!
